The AI course creator
What can Sundra turn into a course?
Almost anything your company already has: policy documents, PDFs, slide decks, recorded meetings and town halls, training videos, and plain text. Upload the source material and Sundra structures it into modules, lessons, and summaries.
Do I need instructional design experience?
No. Sundra was built for HR and L&D teams, not production specialists. The AI handles the structuring and drafting, and you review and refine everything in a built-in editor. If you can edit a document, you can build a course.
How long does it take to create a course?
Most teams have a complete first draft within hours of uploading their material. How long review takes is up to your team, but going from raw material to published course in a day or two is realistic. The old way took weeks.
What happens when the source material changes?
Upload the new version and Sundra updates the course, captions, and translations without rebuilding from scratch or re-recording anything. Your training stays current without becoming a maintenance project.
Getting started
How long does it take to process a video?
Most videos are processed within minutes. A typical 30-minute training video is ready with captions, translations, and a summary in roughly 2–3 minutes, and we've handled hours of content in under five.
What file formats does Sundra support?
Sundra supports all major video formats (MP4, MOV, AVI, etc.) and audio files, and you can upload Zoom recordings and other meeting exports directly. We also process text and documents, so whether it's a training video, a podcast, or a PDF, Sundra can handle it.

Which languages does Sundra support?
Sundra supports 70+ languages, including regional variants of English (US, UK, Australian, Indian, Irish, Scottish, South African, New Zealand, Welsh), Spanish (EU and US), French (European and Canadian), German (standard and Swiss), and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). You'll also find everything from Icelandic, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish to Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Swahili, and Haitian Creole. If you'd like the full list, just ask.
Which languages do you support best?
We put a special focus on Nordic languages (Icelandic, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish), where our accuracy is particularly strong. That said, all 70+ supported languages go through the same rigorous quality checks, and our team tools let you review and refine translations before publishing.
How accurate are translations for industry-specific or technical terminology?
Sundra produces highly accurate translations out of the box, and because every industry has its own vocabulary, we've built collaboration tools that let your team review and fine-tune the output. You can assign "Language Ambassadors" (team members responsible for reviewing a specific language) to ensure terminology, tone, and brand voice stay consistent across every translation.
Can we maintain brand voice and terminology across translations?
Yes, and this is an area we're investing heavily in. Our collaboration interface makes it easy for teams to review translations together, and our Language Ambassador feature lets you appoint a trusted reviewer per language who ensures the output sounds like your brand, not a generic machine translation.
Can I review and edit captions or translations before publishing?
Absolutely. You can share generated content with specific team members, including your Language Ambassadors, for review and final tweaks in their native language. Nothing goes live until you're happy with it.
Can Sundra handle live events or webinars?
Not yet. Sundra currently focuses on pre-recorded content. Live captioning and translation are on our roadmap, so get in touch if you're interested. In the meantime, you can record your Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet session and upload it to Sundra immediately afterward for fast turnaround.
Does Sundra work for content other than formal training?
Yes. Sundra works with any type of content: video, audio, text, or documents. Our customers use it for marketing videos, internal meetings, town halls, CEO messages, onboarding, interviews, and lectures. We also work with film and television producers who need fast, high-quality captioning and translation.

Does Sundra integrate with our existing tools or LMS?
Today, Sundra offers direct integrations with Vimeo and Microsoft SSO, and you can export captions and transcripts in all standard formats (SRT, VTT, TXT) that work with most LMS platforms. How is my data kept secure?
We take data security seriously. All customer data is stored within the EU, and Sundra is fully GDPR-compliant with enterprise-grade encryption and security protocols.
Do you train your AI models on our content?
No. Your content is yours. We never use customer videos, audio, or documents to train our AI models.
What happens to our videos after processing? Do you store them?
Yes, we store your videos and generated content securely within Sundra so you can access, edit, and re-export them whenever you need. Everything can be easily exported to your own systems at any time.
Is Sundra compliant with accessibility standards?
